On March 8, 2025, the 2025 International Conference on Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation (REEC 2025) was held at the new Academic Lecture Hall of Jiangxi New Energy Technology Institute. The conference was hosted by Jiangxi New Energy Technology Institute, co-Host by the Jiangxi Engineer Association, JIANGXI JIANGLING GROUP ELECTRIC VEHICLE CO., LTD., Jiangxi Science and Innovation Alliance for Overseas Chinese, Yushui District Association for Science and Technology of Xinyu City, organized by the Yushui District Industry-Talent Integration Service Center of Xinyu City and Yushui District Science and Technology Service Station of Xinyu City, and Supportsd by AEIC Academic Exchange Information Center. At the opening ceremony, Professor Li Bin, President of Jiangxi New Energy Technology Institute, delivered a welcome speech. Shen Zuying, Secretary and Deputy General Manager of the Engineering Research Institute of JIANGXI JIANGLING GROUP ELECTRIC VEHICLE CO., LTD., and Wang Yuefeng, Party Secretary of the Xinyu Association for Science and Technology, also gave speeches. Yang Qinmin, a Changjiang Scholar and professor at Zhejiang University, conducted an in-depth discussion on the theoretical research and practice of intelligent control of wind turbines. Dr. Xu Wei, an IEEE Fellow and researcher at the Institute of Electrical Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, shared the latest developments in linear oscillating machines and drive systems. Researcher Wang Zhipeng from Jiangxi Normal University presented a detailed introduction on the synthesis, characterization, and application of vertical graphene in supercapacitors.
Professor Guo Bingren from Sunway University, Malaysia, participated via live streaming, sharing unique insights on the latest developments and future prospects of battery and hydrogen energy storage systems in microgrid applications. Professor Raffaele Carli from Politecnico di Bari in Italy also presented through live streaming, conducting an in-depth analysis of decision-making and control technologies for sustainable rural energy communities. These academic reports not only showcased the latest research achievements and cutting-edge technologies in the field of renewable energy and energy efficiency but also provided valuable academic inspiration and reflection for the attendees.
In the afternoon oral presentations, six scholars from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Guangxi University, and Shanghai Maritime University actively showcased their research and shared innovative ideas. Conclusion
